In addition to covering the opening of the exhibit, students have worked on two aspects - remembering and mitigation.

In remembering students, created digital stories about their experience during Katrina. Students in Mrs. Dauterive's and Mrs. Streva's classes gathered images, remembered that time, and selected music to complete their stories. The students were only 8 -10 at the time.
